OUR OWN 1 ST EXPERIMENT GINGER :)

The gnarled, bumpy root of the ginger plant is the source of this wonderful spice. Ginger is extremely good for a good digestion and the burning of calories.

The idea is that in our experiment how the ginger react in such as the baking world.

Our 1st try of the experiment is that combining ginger and pie.

CHICKEN AND GINGER PIE

The ingredient :-
For short crust pastry
  • 150g plain flour
  •  A pinch of salt
  • 40g butter cut into small cubes
For the filling

  • bacon, cut into small dice
  • freshly ground black paper 
  • 2 avocados chopped
  • 4 tbsp chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 large egg
  • 225g boneless chicken meat
  • 2 tbsp of chopped ginger
  • 1 leek sliced
  • 150 ml yogurt

Method :-
The dough
Add in the flour, salt, and butter mix it until resembles breadcrumbs. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of cold water and start bringing the dough together. Shape the dough into a ball shape and let it rest in a bowl about 30 minute.

The filling
Saute the leek and bacon with olive oil.

Mix the avocados and chicken that have been cut into small cube and a splash 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
Mix the item above.
Example of the filling inside the pie.
After the dough is rest about 30 minute the dough is ready to be the base of the pie and the upper of the pie.
Fill in the filling and close the pie with the extra dough seal it with a brush of eggs including the upper part of the pie.
Preheat the oven into 200 degrees and bake the pie for 30 minute.
The finish product is a success. :)
